My first exhibition in Tokyo. I joined Tadashi Onishi with his ongoing “Rozou Project”. Twice a month he has a street exhibition on the streets of Shinjuku. His goal is to share the images of the street with the people on the street, especially who are not so interested in ‘Photography’ and make the viewer aware of all the misunderstandings that are in Japan about image rights within Japan.

This Rozou was one about the streets of Venice. End of October 2018 I had a meet up with my fellow street photographers Tadashi, Tatsuo Suzuki and Damon Jah in Venice. We spend a couple of days on the streets of this beautiful but overcrowded town. We had a fews days of high tide (acqua alta) and we had much fun in the water and rain. When I approached Tadashi to join in on a Rozou he came up with the idea to do one about our Venice photographs. This exhibition was a very good experience, especially to see our photographs projected in a big size. In this blog you will find some photographs I took during the exhibition. The interaction with the projected photographs and the by-passers was a lot of fun.

I would like to thank all the street photographers and street lovers that took the effort to come to see this exhibition. And of course I would like to thank Tadashi-san for the chance he gave me to join in on this project.
